Meet the Board Members
Tempest Rankins
Tempest Rankins is the Board President of Knowing Your Worth Inc. Her role is to assist the founder and CEO, Amber Lane to build Knowing Your Worth up to its fullest potential in reaching out to young and adolescent girls to help empower and uplift themselves.
Tempest is a Third Year (3L) Law Student at Oklahoma City University School of Law. Prior to Law School, she served in the United States Army on Active Duty from 2014-2019. She is currently serving as Captain in the U.S. Army Reserve.
Tempest is a member of Alpha Kappa Alpha Sorority Inc.
In her free time, she enjoys running, music, networking & reading new books that enhance analytical perspectives.
Quanysha Ruffin
Quanysha Ruffin started off as a brand ambassador for Knowing Your Worth Inc. She is now currently holding a role as a new board member and assisting in many tasks in regards to the organization. Quanysha Ruffin is a Family Support Specialist through the nonprofit organization Sunbeam Family Services in Oklahoma City. In 2018, Quanysha obtained her Bachelors of Science degree in Human Development and Family Science from Oklahoma State University. She is currently working on her Master degree with the University of Central Oklahoma. When Quanysha isn’t working or at school, she is catching up on much needed sleep or enjoying time with family and friends!
Aaron Terrell
Aaron T. Terrell is a motivated, passionate professional with diverse experience in organizational development, problem solving and administration. Aaron, a native of Aurora, Illinois, and an Alumni of Kentucky State University with a Bachelor of Arts Degree in Public Administration focusing in the area of Non-Profits and a Master of Organizational Leadership from Lewis University in Romeoville. Aaron has experience in a wide range of industries from non-profits, education and health insurance. Aaron’s background in administration at DeVry University, Career Education Corporation and United Health Group where he led many efforts in simplifying their administration. Aaron currently oversees operations for the Atrium Health in Charlotte, NC.
LaToya Mason
La Toya Mason is the Owner and Creative Director of L Mason Wedding and Event Planning. LaToya had an extensive career with one of the top luxury retailers in the country before taking the leap of faith and turning a long-time hobby into a full-time business in February of 2015. LaToya’s biggest soft spot is for the bride on a dime that leaves her wedding feeling like her special day was just as amazing as if she had a million-dollar budget. LaToya is a proud graduate of Langston University with a BA in Sociology and because all pretty girls wear 20 pearls, she is an active member of the Sigma Sigma Omega chapter of Alpha Kappa Alpha Sorority, Inc. LaToya enjoys blogging “Unapologetically” about the insanity that is her life with 4 kids ranging from 30 to 4 years old, 3 grandchildren, a business, a grumpy husband, and a completely uncontrollable dog.
Tiffany Harris, BSN, RN
Tiffany Harris is a native Oklahoman, currently working as a Healthcare Management Nurse with the Oklahoma Department of Human Services. Tiffany received her Bachelor of Science in Nursing from Langston University. Tiffany has been a Registered Nurse for 15 ½ years. Her nursing experience varies from specialties such as the Emergency Department, Pre and Post Operative care, Home Health, Mobile IV clinics, School Nursing, Clinical Education, and Public Health. She also serves in the community alongside her Illustrious sorority, Alpha Kappa Alpha Sorority Inc. Tiffany has been featured as the Nurse of the Week by the Oklahoman Nursing Times and one of the essential worker honorees at the BLAC, Inc annual gala. In her personal time, Tiffany loves cheering for her son on the football field, shopping with her daughter, and date nights with her husband.
